After the first fun Yoga session at WestUfer, Mareike and I scheduled a Yoga workshop with more time before the Stand Up Paddle board course in the evening. In the globeseekers concept we combine Yoga with various outdoor sports and introduce different aspects of Yoga in retreats, workshops and courses depending on the level of the participants. Doing sports like surfing, SUP boarding, climbing, snowboarding etc. as well as through Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, you develop strong body tension and strengthen your core muscles and looking at the ones who do SUP/other sports or Yoga regularly you could really see that in different parts of the training. So combining both gets you ready for trying new stuff and developing faster. Besides the physical part, doing those combined activities in nature made it easy to let go of other thoughts and really clear your mind.
After 1.5 hours of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, sweating and relaxing, we went over to tea time, healthy oatmeal-, nut- and coconut cookies and an introduction to Yoga Philosophy. We had a good group discussion going on and after a break with some inspiring talks we went on with an intro of Partner/Akro Yoga trying out, playing around, having fun. The SUP introduction / course for the advanced was nicely done, the perfect ending for the workshop and the view from the middle of the lake was just beautiful. Check out http://westufer-kemnade.de/ for infos about SUP courses and more. After the lovely participants feedback we are planning the next two globeseekers Yoga workshops at WestUfer already and look forward to another fun day with inspiring people soon. I will announce it via https://globeseekers.com and invite through our globeseekers FB group on https://www.facebook.com/pages/globeseekers/697375343676238?ref=br_rs.
Hoping you like the pictures & looking forward to your comments & feedback. See you soon. Namaste
