Our first globeseekers Top of the Mountain Retreat at Chris’s families place Gschösswandhaus in Zillertal, Austria was filled with good vibes, great people from 8 different countries, amazing food (Thanks to our Chef Gerhard helping and inspiring us!) and as always a nice mix of being active in nature and different Yoga courses. For the first time we did not have to hike somewhere first, but already had a view like this when waking up, while practicing or during breakfast:
We enjoyed the hikes, the fresh air, collecting blueberries on the way and even crossed the border to Italy:
Before or after active days in nature we practiced and played in different courses like Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga connected to Chinese Medicine, Acro Yoga and Thai Yoga Massage.
Climbing was a good and also surprising experience for many and it was nice to see the group cheering and motivating each other going up and enjoying the view towards the lake and the valley.
The group talks in Yoga Philosophy and Health Coaching were interesting with everyone bringing in different points of views or experiences and during this week we even had a lecture about brain functions by a Swedish scientist, a ceremony with some energy work and breathing techniques by a healing practitioner, a handstand workshop by a former gymnast and Chris’s sister Petra came in for different massages such as healing massage, foot reflexology or Ayurveda massage. Together with wellness sessions in the sauna and steam bath and the yummy, healhy meals it was a good mix for recharging body and mind.
It was great to get to know everyone and spend these moments together. We look forward to staying in touch – i will invite everyone joining into our closed globeseekers community now for exchanging interesting links, material, videos, book recommendations, recipes and for connecting with like minded people from around the globe.
We hope you like the memories ♡ Now we are preparing our next Outdoor & Yoga Retreats in Austria and are in the planning for our Ocean Retreat in Nicaragua in December and the Snow Retreats in Austria happening in February/March. The globeseekers Top of the Mountain Retreat will for sure happen again next year.
